Feeling inspired by this video of Phil Heath's acceptance speech after winning Mr Olympia this year.

Bodybuilding and that type of physique aren't for everybody but the mindset and dedication required is for EVERYBODY who wants to be successful.

This video also encapsulates all the things that you get out of training and pushing yourself that aren't just related to how you look.

Being the hardest worker in the room is my personal aspiration
I love working my tush off when there is no one else around.

The real secret is to do all that with passion, conviction and drive.
Often times we go to work or the gym with resignation

"I have to go to work today"
"I'd better go to the gym"|

Nothing will turbocharge your life like changing your language.

"I'm going to be the hardest worker in the room"
"I am going to crush my workout today"

This is particularly important when you are tired or busy or stressed.

The Video That Got A Million Views In 24 Hours

A couple of months ago, one of my videos hit a HUGE milestone for anyone in business or on social media - 1 MILLION views.  In fact, it got the 1 million views in the first 24 hrs of posting.
This was highly unexpected due to the fact it was just a little video of me practicing my walk and posing before the WBFF worlds.

While the number of views was unexpected, I was not that surprised. I’ve been saying for YEARS how important your walking and posing is

So we did another test.  We posted another posing video a week later - this too hit 2.2m views.

Gym videos, photo shoot videos, pictures - all got NOWHERE near the following of the posing.

I’ve been saying for YEARS how important your walking and posing is - you can have done the hours in the gym, you can have done everything right with your food and diet - but if you get up on stage and you feel like a baby giraffe, you’re going to find it difficult to hit the sexy feminine form so many competitors are looking for.

If you can’t get your body to move the way you want it to LOOK, all the hard work is for nothing.

… and that’s before we talk about your stage presence counting for 40% of your marks.

On The Today Show With Karl & Lisa

This morning I was lucky enough to be invited on the Today Show with Karl Stefanovic and Lisa Wilkinson.

We talked about my background and how I got into the sports modelling industry, and how I didn't personally start with any goals to be on stage at all.

The main thing they wanted to know is how do you balance looking good without getting overly bulky. You wouldn't believe how much my team and I get asked this question - and the answer is simple. You get the right mix by having the right diet.

Now by "right diet", I don't mean eat these 5 foods for a perfect mix of lean and muscle. Don't confuse simple with straighforward or easy. What I mean is every person has a unique body chemsitry and as such, ever person needs slightly different dietary requirements.

This is why we go on and on about macros. If you've been following what we do for any length of time, you'll see me say it always starts with the macros. The training and work, while still incredibly important, comes second.
