In the 1900s, a Japanese researcher named Masaru Emoto conducted a series of experiments observing the effects of words on water. One of his known experiments was the Rice Experiment, and that’s what we will be talking about here.
So he had 3 glass beakers of the same sizes filled with equal amounts of rice and water. And then, everyday for 30 days, he said:
“Thank you” to the first beaker,
“You’re an idiot!” to the second,
And the third, he just completely ignored it.
The rice on the first beaker started to ferment.
The second one turned black.
The third rot.
Emoto came up with a conclusion that our words and intentions can affect even the most benign of substances – either positively or negatively.
Same is true with the language we use for ourselves and others – how we communicate with ourselves and the people around us. And how the people around us speak with us as well.
This is one of the reasons being in a space of growth is important.
It’s a space where the core values of self-love, self-acceptance, self-compassion are spoken, shared, and lived by a community who powerfully support one another.
And that's what the Sports Model Project is all about.
In fact, we have our own creed that we reflect on and recite daily as a part of our ritual.
I am committed to my ongoing and never ending growth.
I am committed to observing my thoughts, words and actions and my reactions to them without judgment or needing to “do” anything.”
I am committed to the ongoing growth of the other women in The Sports Model Project and I will help them understand, embody and live out the principles of The Sports Model Project.
I will go out and live these principles in my family, work, gym, friends and social environment and I am committed to helping people live these principles out there too.”
This is who we are.
This is how we live.
Are you one of us?
Are you ready to be in your best shape
And grow along with a tribe of resourceful, powerful women?
The Sports Model Project is a process of transformation and personal mastery.
And it’s ONLY for the hardest worker in the room.
Light and loving-kindness,
The SMP Coaching Team
