How do you take yourself to the next level?
You might be thinking:
It all goes down to how driven you are.
That to become a pro –
To become a champion?
You have to be wayyy more motivated than everybody else.
And that’s not true.
(I’m saying that as a WBFF Pro Champion myself.)
The truth is?
Pros are just humans like you.
They’re not super humans.
They get unmotivated too.
But one thing that makes and keeps champions stay champions is this:
They are devoted to themselves.
to their vision.
to their process.
And that means?
Mixing in some dose of self-compassion while having high standards.
Having a growth mindset.
That every attempt, every failure is a practice for the next one.
To be better.
To gain personal mastery.
It means being your vision while living your spirit.
That as you commit yourself to your goals – to the thing that is right ahead of you,
You are also committed to what’s right in front of you – aka the process.
If you want to be a champion?
(Whatever that is for you. It could be getting on stage or changing your body composition…)
You have to be earning that day in and out.
Becoming a champion starts way before you become a champion.
Through your routines, habits, and mindset.
And to stay consistent?
You don’t rely on something that is inconsistent.
You don’t rely on something that is unreliable like motivation.
Motivation is for amateurs.
Instead?
Pros rely on something constant –
even with the external chaos around them.
They rely on organisation.
You organise your hard days.
You organise your rest days.
Because the hardest work is knowing when to rest and play.
It’s honouring the body that you have so you can build to what you want.
It’s being grateful for the vessel that you get to do life with.
Do you want to live your body one day?
Or do you want to live your body every day?
Are you ready to take yourself to the next level?
