Today’s transformation week features the incredible @abbiee_rose, and I want to share it with you.
Here’s her story:
“In October last year I signed up to SMP so I could learn more and know I was going in the right direction.
“It was a week after my 21st birthday, and at the same time I started antidepressants again, after only just adjusting to my adhd meds. I was genuinely an anxious mess and even going to the gym became the biggest struggle.
“But, I’m incredibly stubborn and forced myself to keep going. I had to be kind to myself, I knew that medication was heightening any negative feelings I was experiencing. I started journaling which helped sort my head, and I fell back in love with gym and training.
“I’ve been tracking my macros since October, and it has been the biggest tool for me. I used to binge eat quite regularly but tracking (for me) has helped an incredible amount. I’ve learnt to eat a balanced diet and do not carry the same guilt around food I used to.
“My body has changed so much in the last few months and I’m so proud of myself. I love training and I’m so grateful I have the opportunity to push myself the way I do.
“The last two photos are from my first and latest check in. I started 59.6 kg in October, and now I’m at 55.5 kg, and I have a heap more muscle. I’m so grateful for my body and the changes I’ve experienced.
“I genuinely cannot wait to keep pushing myself and see what else I can achieve.
Our girls in SMP aren’t like anybody else.
They commit harder.
(Even when life happens.)
They wipe the tears and pick up the bar and slay that little voice inside their head.
They live with their doubt and then confront it.
They are transformed by their hard work and self-compassion.
