Hattie’s Secret to Achieving Lifelong Leanness and Enjoying High-Performance Lifestyle

People always ask how I’m able to stay this lean and vibrant.

They believe I must be quite rigid with my diet.
All whole food.
All vegetables.
Just plain ol’ chicken.

Because there’s no way a Pro Athlete and World Champion would eat french toast and pancakes, right?

Sorry but…

I actually love those foods.
(And I eat them from time to time!)

And the reason why I’m able to achieve and maintain this leanness and still radiate playfulness even as a high performer is that…

I have flexibility in my diet. 🙂

And that means…

I eat for elite body composition and for satisfaction.
(Because elite body composition is having an elite physique and a healthy mind!)

That’s what’s helped me train like a beast in the gym.
While still having time and energy to do the things I love.

And it’s something you can learn too.

How do we do that?

By tracking your macros.

Tracking your macros allows you to eat your favourite food while still hitting your body composition goals.

For example, when you’re eating out with friends, you have the option to switch around your macros.

What if you go over one macro?

No need to worry.
You can take it from the other and still stay within your target calories.

But…

Of course, you also need to consider which season you are in or what your goals are.

There are times you need to be a bit rigid.
Like when you are on comp prep.

After all, nutrition is all about balance.

And to achieve that balance, there should be flexibility in your diet, which allows for sustainability.

The formula we follow in SMP?

80% whole food.
20% soul food.

That’s how we get to live a sustainable and healthy high-performance lifestyle and stay lean, and vibrant, all year round.
