How Can I Stand Out From Every Other Fitness Competitor?

Last week I asked you and the rest of the community what you needed help with.

I really want to make sure that I getting right to the core of what is difficult or scary for you give you the best information possible and then I don't want it to be so difficult or scary for you anymore.

So a question came up a few times

How Can I Stand Out From Every Other Fitness Competitor?

If you have decided to compete I'll bet that you also want to win.

So then the question becomes how do you beat all of the amazing girls who you will be on stage with.

A few years ago you could be a novice, train for three months and win a show. Today girls are planning their campaigns over 12-24 months so that they can bring a killer package to stage.

The answer that most girls have is to build more muscle and get as lean as possible. But the hard truth is that all of the girls you will compete against will be lean and muscular. Lineups are getting more and more competitive and there are more and more girls competing every year.

So being in elite condition is just the bare minimum but it won't win you a show on it's own.

I judged my first show this year at the LA Pro Show we had forty amazing women posing in front of us and it was our job to decide who the winner was. They

It was the girls with the best stage presence who were the winners.

It was the girls who were confident and walked beautifully and knew how to work the crowd who were the winners at the end.

I recommend that girls go and do some dancing.

It can be in any style that you like, in fact it should be in a style you enjoy and get a kick out of.
Dancing will put you in your body, it will put you in front of people and it will help you connect with your sensuality which exactly what you need for the stage.

Projecting confidence requires a whole heap of practice. Most girls make their posing practice an after thought. They line up a couple of posing classes with a coach and away they go.  But perfect practice daily puts your routine in your nervous system so that you can perform under the pressure of lights, the stage and a big crowd.

Regular practice makes your routine second nature it makes you confident and it makes you stand out on stage.
