So why don't I look the part?

I think other people think that about me too.”
So it’s hard to show up at the gym and feel that.
It makes it hard to even do the work.
But I do.
I keep showing up!!!
It’s just there’s not much joy in it.
I have high standards!!
Only they hurt.
Not physically, but it hurts my heart,
When I stop and listen?
It hurts to hear what I say to myself
So it’s just easier to do more.”
A ship that’s sailing in the wrong direction?
Only gets further away from its destination when it goes faster.
I need a map
But I have been studying maps.
I’ve been to the seminars
Read the books
Did the course
I listened to the podcast.
They seem to work fine for everyone else
They aren’t working for me
Instead of getting closer?
I’m further away and it’s getting harder to keep going.
I don’t quit.
It’s way more common than you think.
