Instead of loving the body that you want, why not love the body that you have now?
The two girls you see in the picture were both me now and then.
There’s a huge difference, right?
My body has been in so many shapes and sizes -- and I love them all.
I couldn’t have been where I am today if I didn’t love the body I had back then.
It’s sad to hear that some girls train so hard, NOT to achieve mastery or elite body composition, but because they
want to leave their own bodies.
And there are times in my life when I felt that too.
You can see those girls almost every day at the gym training hard and posting their mirror selfies on Instagram.
They could be in their best shape physically, yes, but other than that, they often don’t feel like they are.
Why is that?
Because ultimately, that motivation is not sustainable long term.
Deep down you know this.
The thing is that working hard out of self-bullying can get you results, but not sustainable results — worse still,
you won’t enjoy the journey.
So, instead of loving the body that you want, why not love the body that you have now?
You can move with it.
You can eat with it.
You can birth a beautiful creature with it.
You can carry your kids with it.
It creates generations.
So, could you perhaps be even more devoted to yourself?
It’s the body that has served as a vehicle for your dreams, and it's still there for you now that you’re closer to
It’s going to be the same body that will serve you for the rest of your life.
Sleep 8 hours a day.
Be present for your loved ones.
And most importantly, learn to love yourself. And be your own body’s best supporter.
