Question really is: Are you actually ready for prep?
Not from a motivation perspective.
But from a foundation perspective.
Prep is a multi-phase event.
For some people they need two phases.
For others, there’s three.
We have Foundation Phase for structural balance,
which you can do for maybe six to 12 weeks.
Then you might need to do a Building Phase for eight months minimum.
Then a cutting phase 12 to 24 weeks
depending on how quick or slow you are at losing fat.
It’s going to be different for each individual.
But here’s the thing:
Before you do prep, make sure
to first: know and understand your starting point.
There has to be full ownership of what your level is
so you can get to where you want to be physically and mentally.
Are you at stage one?
Have you done a general preparation phase?
Do you have your foundations checked and established?
Are your joints, shoulders flexible/mobile/stable/strong enough?
Have you been putting all the work in the background
to come to a position where you don’t even have to do a build?
What preparations have you done before the prep?
It’s okay if you don’t have answers to these questions yet
