Let’s talk about the foundation phase: The step before preparation.

The easiest way to think about this is to compare it to building a house:

So before you start to lay down a concrete slab, you measure everything first to make sure the ground where you're about to be putting everything is stable and ready for what comes next.

Is it rocky? Is it level? Because you can't build from an unstable surface. Right?
Sometimes you have to adjust your plans for the terrain.

Same for the body:

If you start trying to build from an unstable joint, then you're going to end up building the wrong muscle or you're going to break down.

So there’s preparation before preparation.
We actually need a foundation phase before we do a building phase.

In SMP, what we do is we first look at the foundations that you currently have.

Do your joints have stability?
Do they have mobility?
Do you have flexibility?

Are you structurally balanced?
Are you structurally strong enough to then go and lay some bricks on and build from that foundation?

What are some limitations?
Are there any limitations?

Can you get stronger?
Can you get bigger?
Can you perform the way you want to perform?

Once we get a clear understanding of what your current foundation looks like, we help you build what you need so you can build to what you want.

And the question now is:

Do you want to build up?
Is it time to get help?
Are you ready to take your training to the next level?
