Life got you anxious? Top Tip: Hold Onto Weight Training

A study published in Scientific Reports found that
Weight training can reduce anxiety levels.

The researchers at the University of Limerick - Ireland
recruited 28 physically healthy young men and women
to participate in their study.

The participants were divided into 2 groups.

One group doing the 8-week weight training program
The other just living their normal lives as a control group.

The result?

The control group still felt as anxious as 8 weeks before.

Meanwhile...

The group doing the weights reported 20% less feelings of anxiety than the control group.
