Every year, like clockwork, a question is ignited in the minds of girls on their fitness journey everywhere.
“How am I going to handle the holidays”
While it’s important that you are devoted to your training, it’s not a crime to loosen your rein sometimes — especially when it’s time to relax and be present with your family.
Imagine what happens to a thread when pulled too tight? It frays. It strains. It breaks.
My girls are not new to this feeling; they have felt what you are feeling right now.
So a while back, I had this interesting observation among my girls, which I’d love to share with you. They were split into 3 groups:
The first had their best holiday break ever. They still managed to keep up with their training and still tracked what they ate without feeling drained or pressured to do so out of guilt.
The second group took their last two weeks off as they were in a great place mentally. They decided to give themselves a break from structure, discipline, and routine.
The third had some more challenges. Like the other groups, they try to loosen up by not sticking to their plan, but they feel really guilty while doing this. They are worried about not being able to recover or get back on track or that not hitting their macros can ruin EVERYTHING.
So what does this mean for you?
It means what you feel now is normal.
There was a time I would have felt the same.
I’d train on Christmas day so that I could “burn off” the extra food eaten that day.
I know how you’re feeling.
But what if during the holidays you could practice being present.
With your family.
With your loved ones.
Now look, this is not something you’re going to master overnight.
It takes time learning how to balance our goals, being disciplined, and being playful.
And it takes a process of transformation and personal mastery.
Would you like help guiding you through that?
Because now is actually the perfect time to start building those habits.
My specialist team of coaches in the Sports Model Project and I will teach you how to
- train like a beast,
- rest like a champion.
Be present with your friends, family and loved ones.
You’ll learn when to push and when to play, as you work on your vision while happily living in your spirit.
You will get access to the tools and skills in building a better relationship with yourself so you can live a life of passion and joy in the body and mind that you want.
The process works, but only for resourceful women, who are willing to recognise that the hardest work is knowing when to rest and be playful, and are ready to be transformed physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Are you ready for that?
Light and loving kindness,
