What does a coach do?
It's a relatively simple question,
yet the answers vary depending on who you ask.
If you take a random person on the street and ask them what a coach does,
chances are they'll say something along the lines of
"A coach keeps you accountable"...
Which is true in a lot of cases.
However, do we?
Let me explain why.
Professional athletes don't need "accountability".
They don’t need to be watched over,
nagged, or scolded,
they don’t need to be “motivated” or “cajoled” into doing the work.
They’re already the hardest workers in the room.
Our job as your coaches isn't to keep you accountable,
but to teach you self mastery so you can keep YOURSELF accountable.
Like the saying goes:
I can give you a fish, and feed you for a day.
Or I can teach you to fish, and feed you for a lifetime.
We're here to teach you how to fish, showing you the small distinctions and holes in your plan, and providing you with the best practices for you to achieve the results you’re after.
And sure, there’s plenty of ways a coach
can make their client dependent on them -
But we made a conscious decision very early in this business
that we weren’t ever going to do that.
Instead, we decided to nurture independence,
and encourage growth,
Allowing you to embrace your personal power,
and become the best version of yourself.
And when you do achieve your goals, you can hold your head up high because you didn’t assign your outcomes or your success to anyone else.
We choose not to clip your wings,
and we know that because of this you will leave the nest someday.
But guess what?
When you soar out away from the nest and into the open sky,
No one will cheer louder than we do.
Because at the end of the day…
We might have the knowledge, but the power is within YOU.
Are you ready to step
beyond the cage of “accountability”
And really learn how to fly?
Love & Light,
