A question we often get asked is:
Can I get as good results by exercising at home?
The answer: no…
BUT, you can if you're training.
You see,
Exercise is just moving around.
And don't get me wrong, movement is amazing!
A bit of movement every day is great for both your physical and mental health.
But if you're looking to improve your physical fitness, or achieve specific fitness goals, then home exercise just won't cut it.
Here's why:
1. You need structure
A good workout has a specific purpose and is structured in a way that helps you achieve that purpose. Without a plan, it's a guessing game.
It's a series of:
"This booty band burns",
"this feels hard, I must be on the right track",
and "I feel sore after my workout, so it must be working".
It's easy to end up doing a lot of exercises that don't really help you reach your goals.
2. You need guidance
It's not easy to figure out what you need to do to achieve your goals.
A good coach can give you the basics - form advice, general programming, and basic education.
But a GREAT coach will give you so much more.
