#1: Intention.

What’s the intention behind your training?

For self-punishment?
Or to achieve progression in real time?

What is your intention behind doing an exercise?

To make it to 15 reps?
Or nail 1 rep perfectly 15x?

Working on your intention can lead to massive results.

#2: Effort.

“I’m sweating.”
“My heart rate’s elevated.”
“It hurts a little.”

If these are your measurement of effort, you’re missing the opportunity to track real effort:

→ Load
→ Mind to muscle connection
→ The ability to push through discomfort

Effort feels different for everyone.

If you’ve been training for a long time,
You’re going to have to work harder than everyone else.

You’re going to have to work to fail at your reps and sets, 
not just go to where it’s uncomfortable.

#3: Execution

Something I learned from 
one of my greatest mentors @australianstrengthcoach 
is that technique is king.

How you execute the exercise is going to determine the speed, the bar path, what muscles you use, where the load travels.

These will all impact your training 
and the results you get.

Because getting this right?

Is going to feel amazing.

You will see physical change in your body.

But you will also see huge jumps in your strength, in your fitness and in your mindset around what you are capable of.
