Most people associate the word “diet” with lowering body fat…
But dropping body fat isn’t a diet.
Changing your body’s composition is achieved by aligning your energy balance.
Energy in vs energy out.
But a diet is actually about HOW you eat - not WHAT you eat.
The problem is, most people think they’ll make a temporary change to their eating habits to get a long term result.
(I’ve been guilty of this too)
But your diet shouldn’t be a temporary change to get you a momentary result.
It should be a lifestyle choice.
I’m sure you’ve heard all about the various “diets” that are out there…
Keto. Paleo. Low-fat. FODMAP. etc. etc…
The funny thing about these “diets” is… they all work!
But like any diet…
They only work as long as you make them work for you.
So if you’re doing crazy things and jumping through hoops to achieve elite body composition, here’s what you need to understand -
Are you eating a certain diet that you can only maintain for a week?
A month? Three months? A year?
Or are you eating in a way that’s a lifelong enjoyment and pleasure?
I’m not talking about eating chicken and broccoli for the rest of your life.
I’m talking about true lifestyle -
Where you eat to fuel your training and your physique goals…
While also eating things just for the pleasure.
So how do you know which is the best diet for you?
It’s actually a lot simpler than you’d think.
The best diet for you is the one that you can stick to – long-term.
You probably wouldn’t think it
by looking at their physiques…
But @hattieboydle and the SMP girls are actually quite flexible where their diets are concerned.
They don’t see foods as inherently good or bad...
Clean or dirty…
Healthy or unhealthy….
Simply put, they eat the foods they enjoy!
(That includes pancakes, french toast, and chocolates too.)
You don’t have to be restrictive with your diet.
Do you want to learn how?
