The lead-up to competition is a rollercoaster ride -
filled with ups, downs, twists, and turns.
You put blood, sweat,
and tears into reaching that end goal.
On most days, you are focused on the path ahead -
always chasing after that goal: the stage.
And that's good.
It's important to know where you want to go.
you'd be wandering around aimlessly.
But it's incredibly easy to get caught up in the destination - speeding down the highway - tormented by a gap between where you are now and where you want to be.
And this makes you feel like you aren't doing enough.
Like you aren't achieving enough.
Like you aren't progressing fast enough.
It's a real trap for driven people like you and me because so much of our dissatisfaction comes from only looking through the front windscreen view.
But something we forget to take into consideration is how far we've actually come.
Prep is a journey filled with bumpy roads,
unexpected roadblocks, wild weather, and much more.
But the most enlightening part of it is looking back
at the person you were when you started that journey.
Because I can guarantee,
you will have come a long way since then.
So could you be more compassionate to yourself?
Do yourself a favour:
Check the rear vision mirror.
Remember how far you've come.
Remember the progress you've made.
The journey that you've had is a success in itself.
This is something so incredibly important to all of us at The Sports Model Project.
We help you take your transformation to the next level
so you can FEEL your own progress.
So you can live in the mind and body that you've always wanted.
So you can surround yourself with a community of resourceful women, powerfully supporting each other's ongoing growth.

And be your vision.
Love and light,
