I had a girl come up to me at the gym the other day and say -
“You look GREAT. How long did it take you to get here?”
And my first inner reaction was…
“Don’t tell her the truth”
Because the truth,
I didn’t want to see her face drop with disappointment when I answered.
In the 10 years it’s taken to build my physique,
I’ve been through a long journey,
That’s had many chapters.

My point is -
To get anything worth having, you have to follow a series of steps that are appropriate for where you’re at in your journey.
The same is true for transforming your physique.
There’s a foundation phase,
where you build muscle and strengthen weaknesses.
Then a build phase,
where you stack a layer of muscle on top of what you’ve already got.
Finally, a cut phase,
where you melt away what’s covering the build you’ve done underneath.
Sady, a lot of people don’t want to hear about this.
They want the lie -
“I did it in 2 years!”
I didn’t lie to the girl in the gym
about how long it’s taken me to get here.
And I won’t lie to you either.
