I’ve been seeing this a lot:
Women measure their success by
→ Difficulty, sweatiness feeling of training hard in the moment.
→ Soreness post training.
Photos they post of themselves lying on the floor dripping in sweat, feeling great.
Are the reason they are frustrated at their lack of results.
Which is unfortunate because it’s not getting them anywhere.
Because the only thing that matters is:
Are you getting better and/or stronger than the last session?
“Have I increased the weight on my lifts?”
“Did I do more reps on every single set than the last session?”
“Did I increase time under tension?”
And here’s another thing:
Are you using an app or journal to record your sets, reps, and weights to track your progress?
It seems too simple to be true but….
Once you get past your second year oif training this is what determines your results
It’s a common problem we found among women who come to SMP:
They just train and train. But they don’t have even an objective measurement of their improvement, which should also include a standard rest period.
So what they do: they just use fatigue and sweat levels as the measure for their success.
But in reality, there are zero changes in their body.
Want to take your training to the next level and achieve results that last?
That’s one of the many things we’ll help you with in the Sports Model Project.
