At least… that’s what it seems like.
One is keeping 1,200 cal of broccoli and chicken.
Another is meal plans.
Then paleo,
Then vegan,
And then low carb,
Cleanses,
Intermittent fasting,
Detoxes,
Fat burners,
All of them at once.
And the long, miserable list goes on.
But what if I tell you that,
You can actually lose body fat
With just only one way?
How?
I’ll cut the suspense for you:
You must be in a calorie deficit.
That means you consume less energy than you burn each day.
But be careful.
It’s not the diet that’s the tricky bit.
The tricky bit is…
Too much of a calorie deficit is counterproductive.
It leads to
long-term health problems,
bad mood,
less vitality,
and can really harm your reproductive system.
So,
How can we be certain that we are in the right amount of deficit?
How do we know it’s right to get us the body that we want and still enjoy life?
I could go on with a complex and detailed laundry list of ways.
But I’ll just make it simple for you by leaving you with this quote from Alan Aragon to put things into perspective:
“You should spend 10% of your energy on diet, 10% on training and 80% on having f–ing life.”
→ Developing a better relationship with food and your body
→ Becoming more vibrant and healthy and strong in the body that you want by learning high-performance habits and skills in training and nutrition
→ Enjoying all the good stuff and spending some good time with the people you love (because the hardest work is knowing when to rest and be playful)
All of that and more, you will achieve through a process of transformation and personal mastery.
The process that we use in the Sports Model Project.
It’s not for everyone, though.
It’s ONLY for the hardest worker in the room.
