One of the things most people don't want to hear is…
The road to success
is paved with failure.
It's true - nobody successful got to where they are
without failing a TONNE of times.
In my journey to competing on stage, I spent years working with different coaches, trialing countless different methods and techniques.
Every time I failed,
it took me one step forward.
Because from each failure I learned a valuable lesson.
And each failure brought me closer to developing my winning process.
My success didn't happen overnight -
and it wasn't always smooth sailing.
I owe my success to every single one of those failures and the lessons they taught me.
You see, every one of the world's biggest success stories
is built from failures.
The creators of the game "Angry Birds" released 51 games
prior to their most well-known,
all of which failed to take off.
Steve Jobs was forced out of his company Apple.
Returning to bring the company back from the brink of bankruptcy but fundamentally changing technology as we see it today.
In his early 20's,
Walt Disney himself was fire from a newspaper
for "not being creative enough".
These are just a few examples of one key idea in practice.
Using failures to move forward.
Now I know that failure is scary,
Especially for high achievers like you and me because we are constantly yearning for success.
And to us,
failure can feel like
we're falling behind.
But in reality, we're not behind.
In fact, it's those failures that push us ahead, teaching us how to grow into the people we are meant to become.
The preparation leading up to a competition is grueling.
It's a process that will test you
You will undoubtedly have failures along the way.
But it's those failures that allow you to learn,
taking you to the next level.
This is what SMP is for.
We take you through a process of transformation and self-mastery,
Giving you the tools to become the best version of yourself.
To help you not just succeed, but to thrive.
So that you can take your failures and use them to propel you further towards success than you ever thought possible
Love and light,
