People keep telling me they need a “harder program”...
It's the same reason that people are taking performance-enhancing drugs.
They feel like they are training “so hard” but still aren't as lean or as muscular or as strong as they need to be.
So if they can't “train any harder”
or apply more effort
they need more complicated programs or drugs.
Only…
They are missing the thing that actually makes training hard or taking drugs work.
Note:
I don't take PEDs.
I don't coach girls taking PEDS and we don't work with girls on drugs in The Sports Model Project.
You are an adult
and it's your decision
to risk your fertility, health and well-being
if you choose.
But don't miss the thing that makes harder programs or drug use actually work.
Your body changes in response to stimulus from training.
The stimulus must increase each session
and it must be specific…
Which means doing squats in one session then doing leg extension in its place the next session will feel hard if you push yourself on the exercises.
But you aren't going to give your body
the specific stimulus to get a signal
to grow and develop new tissue.
This is what separates people who get results from those who don't.
The top bodybuilders in the world can make straight sets hard.
Week 1: 3 sets @ 100kg x 5 reps
Week 2: 3 sets @ 105kg x 4 reps
Week 3: 3 sets @ 105kg x 5 reps
In three weeks the stimulus increased by 5%.
The body noticed
and decides to build more tissue.
Keep stacking weeks up like that and your body will be on the transformation rocket ship.
Every single session,
every single week,
every single program,
every single phase,
every single year.
(This is where mindset comes in.)
That's why more complex programs and yes,
drugs still won't get you what you want.
To get what you want?
You need to learn how to train like an athlete.
That's what I teach in SMP.
It’s not for people that expect an easy result.
It's not for people who have just started.
It's not for people who can't focus.
SMP is ONLY for the hardest worker in the room.
Love and light,
Hattie xoxo
