Freedom Requires A Different Kind Of Discipline.
You want to be strong?
That’s going to require you to lift heavier every week .
You want be fitter?
That’s going to require you to perform High intensity interval sessions, long endurance session, metabolic sessions a number of times a week.
You want to lose weight?
That’s going to require you to start looking at how much you are eating, create a calorie deficit, maybe lean how to track your food, be hungry from time to time and most of all, have patience.
OR stay in great condition (whatever that is to you) all year round... well that’s really going to require a lot from you.
Tracking your macros
Prepping 90% of your own food
Tracking your measurements weekly
Training 4-6 times a week with intention and quality - even when you don’t feel like it.
Prioritising the most important ones and PLANNING around it.
Learning how to have a flexible approach so that you can have the body you want and still socialise.
Learning that it doesn’t have to be all or nothing, that there’s time in the year where you leave no stone unturned or when it’s time to do the bare minimum (like now).
The bare minimum for me looking at my days in the week where my nutrition will be perfect because I don’t have special events, then planning ahead and still tracking my food, but using a level 2 tracking (something I teach my girls) staying within my calories, hitting my protein but allowing for more flexibility with my fats and carbs.
The freedom to be able to still eat out with friends and still have the body I want requires effort.
This is what I teach my girls in The Sports Model Project so that they too can learn to have flexibility in their system.
To teach them when to push and when to play so that they too can have a journey of Transformation and self mastery.
