It sometimes takes us hours, days, months, years, or maybe our whole lives to start taking action.
And it could be because you are still waiting for some strong motivation to kick in,
Or it could be excuses – reasons,
Or it could be because you don’t feel confident enough,
It could be fear,
It could be pride.
But the biggest reason is:
We are often overwhelmed by the fact that we have the potential to become great – to become A LOT better than what we envision.
It stops us from starting every time because we think everything should be laid down perfectly before us. We fear that we might not get what we expect. We grit our teeth as we go down the path fighting for perfection. And when we lose control of things, it gets to all or nothing, success or failure, perfect or terrible.
And what does all or nothing give you?
All or nothing.
So your actions reflect that. All or Nothing.
Instead, what if you considered:
Failures are a PART of success – not the opposite.
Champions are NOT perfect. The most successful people have the highest failure tolerance. I.e - they fail more than everyone else, and that is why they succeed.
Any habit worth mastering is worth doing poorly at first.
