When you’re someone who takes your health and fitness seriously,
You do the things you know you’re meant to do.
You eat well.
You take care of your body.
But when it doesn’t work the way you’d hoped after the years you’ve put in?
That’s why you find yourself jumping to the next coolest thing on social media.
I used to do this too.
It’s easier to do the next thing...
Than it is to master the basics…
And give yourself permission to learn them properly.
To be a beginner,
And to have a beginner’s mindset.
And yes, I still class myself as one.
There is so much more for me to learn and master.
Because at the end of the day,
The time and commitment you put into mastering -
- Your health
- Your training
But think about it like this -
What if the way you’re
Training, eating, living right now,
Is like a baby trying to run before it can walk?
Have you ever seen a baby have a tantrum about something they’re absolutely not ready to do yet?
It’s a perfect example of why you feel so frustrated with yourself.
A child desperately wants to do the next thing in their development…
They want to crawl,
Then they want to walk,
Then they want to run,
But their bodies just aren’t caught up to their hearts.
So too with your fitness journey.
That’s why SMP exists.
Not many people like to be beginners.
Especially when you’ve been doing something for a long time.
It’s not comfortable.
It can be really frustrating.
You could say that being a beginner is truly the hardest work of all.
Because it requires taking off the armor you put on every day,
Telling yourself that everything is fine,
If you just keep going, you’ll get the outcome you want,
And it means saying to yourself -
“Hey, this isn’t working”
“Hey, I need help”
And that’s why SMP is only for the hardest worker in the room.
Because transformation and self-mastery is just as much about doing the work,
As it is about being honest enough to say you’re not getting what you want,
From the work you’re putting in.
Are you ready for that?
Love & Light,
